Universal Sompo General Insurance has announced that Rupesh Pawar has joined as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at its Policy Processing Centre in Navi Mumbai.
Most recently, he served as the Head of Information Security (CISIO) for IndiaFirst Life where he was charged with defining strategic cyber security planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing defense initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future security technologies using a risk-based assessment methodology.
Prior to IndiaFirst Life, he was associated with HDFC Life and Nomura India Services Pvt. Ltd.
